Ladies Open

This years Ladies open takes place on the 3rd June. The club are hosting a full field of ladies from the local clubs in and around Eastbourne
Visitors and members should note the course will be closed on Thursday to enable the course to be prepared and enable our guests to enjoy the course.
AGM Update
19/03/2010
The 2010 AGM was hald on Thursday 18th March 2010. Full details will follow shortly. The headlines of the meeting were:
- Subscription rates for 2010/11 frozen at the 2009/10 rate
- Barry Wooller elected 2010 Captain
- Ray Crane elected 2010 Vice Captain
- Mike Archer elected as Director (Chairman)
- John Chappel elected as Director (Greens)
- Graham Mills elected as Director (Establishement)
- Bob Butler & Mike Pollitt continue on the board as trustees
- Membership Raffle won by Kerry Doidge
Captain's drive in
19/03/2010
After a delay to the start of his year, 2010 Captain Barry Wooller takes the stand and launches his year with the traditional drive in.
The day is well subscribed, Barry's tee off is at 8:00am Sunday 21st March with the shotgun competition starting at 8:15.

Don't Forget AGM date put back

The clubs AGM was booked for this Thursday, 18th February. Due to the heavy snow we had in January and the closure of the club the AGM was put back by a month to ensure all members had a chance to view the information and submit any questions.
To confirm the Clubs AGM is now on Thursday 18th March 2010.

What's coming up

There's a fair bit going on in the club over the next few weeks. The social committee have been working away at coming up with new events and there's a few important competitions coming up.

There are a load of great social events coming up this month.
Saturday and Sunday 6th & 7th enjoy a drink, a bit of food and watch the 6 Nations Rugby live. All 3 matches over the weekend will be on display in the clubhouse

As planned the snow has cleared and the course has finally opened.
Thanks to the efforts of the hard working greens staff the course is again playable and club life is returning to normal.
Its Starting to Thaw

At last, we're starting to see a thaw in Eastbourne. The car park has started to clear but sadly the course is still unplayable and still covered in snow.
The course will remain closed over this weekend (16th & 17th January).
We will though be opening the clubhouse bar and kitchen over the weekend so pop in for a drink and a catch up. If you feel like shifting the snow from the course while your up, you're more than welcome!!!
