Boasting 100 years in development the course is a superb example of a downland course. Depending on the time of year you can experience fast running fairways and tight lies to soft receptive greens into a stiff breeze. Whatever your skill level you’ll find the course a superb test of golf. No two days will play the same at the Downs offering you the ability to develop a wide range of skills and shots.

Our scorecard will give you a flavour of the course as will the hole by hole guides. You will not though appreciate the sheer beauty of the course and it’s exclusive view points across the Downs and Eastbourne until you come and play here. Visitors are always welcome here. Members and visitors should also check out our local rules pages.
We do though, as other clubs do, have a few rules you need to be aware of to get the best of your visit or membership at the club. Please have a look at our dress code page for more information.
